Nesha B Writes About Love

[Advice from Rynesha B.]

Welcome to my advice column. I’m Rynesha and giving advice is my passion. I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember. Whenever my friends need advice, they can always count on me.

Guess what’s around the corner? Valentine’s Day. You don’t know what to buy or say to your boyfriend/girlfriend? What should you do? Ask Rynesha: she knows. So here are some questions from young teens in relationships…

Where is the best place for a couple to hang out on Valentines Day? What should the guy give if he cannot afford a bouquet of flowers on the 14th, for the girl?

The best place for a couple to hang out on Valentines day is a quiet bench, maybe in a park. You can also take a walk on a trail where it’s just you two alone. If your date can’t afford to buy you flowers, its okay! He can just write you a poem, but if he’s not the poem type, then maybe he can say something that he really feels for you. That’s basically what Valentine’s is all about; expressing your love for someone

What do you do when your girlfriend finds a picture of another girl in your phone?

Tell the truth! The truth will set you free, LOL, but the question you should ask your self is: do you really care for your girlfriend, and if you do, why do you have a picture of another girl? Were you and your girlfriend going through a tough time at that point? Think about it. What would you do if you saw a another dude in your girlfriend’s phone? You would be upset. So the best advice I can give you is to tell the truth and if she really cares for you, she’ll forgive you.

Dear Rynesha, I’m really good friends with this one guy and he just asked me to prom. Then last week we kissed. His birthday is on Valentine’s Day and I got some really big birthday presents for him, but I don’t know if I should incorporate any Valentine’s oriented things in the present. Or if the kiss was a one time thing ahhh!

Well the question you can ask yourself is, do you really like him and did the kiss mean anything to you? If it did, then ding, ding, ding! You just won a boyfriend, LOL, but it’s up to you if you want to buy another gift just for Valentine’s Day. A gift you can give him for Valentines Day is saying yes for the prom he might be even more excited.

I’ve got a couple of friends who say they’re in love, but one lives in Illinois and the other in Maryland. Should they try to keep it going even with the distance?

Yes, of course! When you’re in love with someone, it’s hard to just break it off. They should keep it going for as long as they can. They can always talk on the phone, send pictures, videos, etc. No matter how far apart they are, they shouldn’t just let their love go.

  1. Thanks for the advice.
I think those of us who seek
and those of us who give
    advice need to be careful
    whichever end of the
    conversation we find
    ourselves. thanks
