It's good that rappers are actually talking about something RELEVANT, not ignorant subjects, even though the presidential election is not the most conscious topic they can rap about. In Dead Prez's poem titled "4 The Hood", M-1 says "You expect me to vote for the lesser of two evils? Never. It's more like the evil of two lessers. That's like saying M, choose yo' oppressor. Pick One, Jeffrey Dahmer or Hannibal Lecter" This quote shows how no matter who wins the election, the "leader" will most likely not be "For the people", as much as that is what we want. While Obama seems like the best candidate to me, him and his part still commit very capitalist acts that in reality will bring no change. But like I said, it's cool that some rappers are rapping about some real shit, and not about poppin pills.

When will the communities being impacted by rising youth crime become outraged by the easy access to an and the large number of guns in their community?

Why don't you become angry and raise your voices about this? I guess it is easier to blame the police for the crime and then blame them for the casulties that occur when they do their job to prevent crime.

If adults do not begin taking personal responsiblity and teaching their children to do the same, the young people in these communites will continue to die.

When I was growing up we would play a Basketball game called twenty-one. However, some of the games would not make it to twenty-one due to the fact some one would get to twelve first. Twelve, would win the game only if no one has scored a point, and the some else had twelve. Well, as we know Sentor Clinton has gotten some points. However, he questoin is since Obama has more points than she, and it does not seem he will be letting up in his scoring. Giving up is never good, but the party that she has fought so hard to be apart of. She seems to be willing to allow it to be destroyed because of pride. She does not have to quit, but larger heads needs to prevail.

hey, wats up? Damn, the rap industry is so messed up it has to rely on deodorants to make them money. While you see that this label may "turn the artist’s whole career into a commercial" as the only problem, I can see a bigger problem. TAG, which is known to have sexual commercials, will force their artists to make sexual songs and videos, which will lead to the deeper degration and deeper disrespect of our women. They will exploited to the point that has not been reached before, which is damn high. "Getting their bread">This is my opinion, but shouldn't music be used to teach our young and not for money? There is no point in spending your whole career like most rappers who base their music off money, and not actual love for the music. Cool Report. Peace & Keep It Real.
