One suspect charged, another sought, in UNC murder

DURHAM, N.C.—Police have arrested and charged 21 year old  Demario James Atwater with first degree murder in the slaying of University of North Carolina student Eve Carson.  Authorities are currently looking for 17-year-old Lawrence Alvin Lovett Jr., who also faces first degree murder charges.

Carson, a pre-med student and student body President, was discovered shot to death the morning of March 5th.
